Plasma - Magnetic field interaction in the solar atmosphere
The traineeship will be on topics related to phenomena occurring in the solar atmosphere during the emergence and evolution of magnetic flux bundles. Special interest concerns the occurrence and forecasting of solar eruptive phenomena. Researchers at DFA have experience in analysis of spectro-polarimetric data acquired at ground-based telescopes, as well as in analysis of high resolution data acquired by satellites.
