Evaluation of the effect of contaminated biomasses in biomethane production - ERASMUS P LISBOA03
Detailed programme of the traineeship:
To study the effect of contaminated biomasses with heavy metals and biomass pre-treatments on biomethane production by anaerobic digestion.
- Characterization of the contaminated biomass, switchgrass, obtained from soils contaminated with heavy metals (Zn, Pb, Cd, Ni)
- Performance of fungal pretreatments of the switchgrass biomass
- Biochemical Methane Potential (BMP) Tests
Knowledge, skills and competences to be acquired by the end of the traineeship (expected Learning Outcomes):
Knowledge, skills and competences related with the use of biomass to produce biomethane qualifications and to facilitate personal development,
employability and participation in the European labour market
